Have you been watching and listening to the state of what is happening with our Local Council - the NPDC.
Have you been following the issues, and the big numbers for budgets and debt, being tossed around carelessly by some of the current elected officials ?
Are you bothered by this ? Do you have a background that can get to the heart of these big issues and turn around the mess that is being created ?
Our city needs at least 8 candidates who can understand the big picture - and as a majority - can vote to do things differently.
We met with a group of people interested in being candidates in April – some have gone on to start their campaigns. We have met other organisations who are working with potential candidates as well.
Nominations open for Candidates in this year’s local elections on Friday 4th July.
