We have decided to take on a Legal Challenge regarding the NPDC Water CCO.

Can you help us with fundraising for our legal costs ?

As many of you will be aware we had discussions with a Law Firm when the closed meeting was arranged by the NPDC on 10^th October, on the day before the election.

Over the last month we have been investigating and evaluating information regarding the appointment of the new Water CCO Board and new Water CCO Chief Executive.

Based on the legal advice we have received we think there are questions that need to be answered about how these appointments were handled. The Alliance Team has made a decision to take on a legal challenge about this situation.

If you were concerned about how this appointment took place we are going to need your help to raise funds for legal costs. We have already received some generous support, to get us started, but legal action is pretty expensive and we need as much help as our supporters can offer.

We have set up a dedicated bank account for Legal Fund donations.

Many people across New Plymouth were very surprised to find an appointment had been made for the Chief Executive of the new Water CCO, and a lot of people were quite concerned the person who had been appointed was such a surprise. If you were one of those concerned people, please give what you can to our legal fund.
