Update again on the Water CCO complaint to the Ombudsman
Just to let everyone know we have now had an official response from the Ombudsman about our Water CCO complaint.
We know they have also sent a reply to all our supporters who wrote to complain when we did, and have given each of those complaints a case number.
The Ombudsman’s office has asked if they can just have one contact to deal with going forward, as replying to so many individuals is very time consuming.
We’d like to thank everyone who sent a complaint to support us. We wanted to get the attention of the Ombudsman, and all those complaints helped us to do that.
We will take on the actions needed from here. There are some legal limitations of what the Ombudsman’s office can change with decisions already made, but based on information we have gathered over the last month, there are multiple areas of concern.
We had the opportunity to ask some questions before proceeding with our complaint, so we have clarified a few things.
Through these government processes there are official ways for things to be handled, and they have outlined the next steps for us to take, and these things take time, but we have started on the next steps this week.
