We agree with the Taxpayers Union, and we also back Max Brough on asking questions about contracts involving significant amounts of Ratepayers rates income.

Max campaigned last year on reducing rates and questioning all spending, this is a big reason the community voted for him, and many of the new Councillors.

We’ve had a look at the agenda for the meeting where this was discussed yesterday, and some of the other items discussed have raised other issues for us.
