We’ve had some good news – WaterCo1 has a new look agenda - There is more detail - and attachments
We had some good news this week. A new look agenda is on the NPDC meetings page for WaterCo1.
We wrote to the NPDC ten days ago to complain that the Water Company agenda’s looked very different to a usual NPDC agenda with very little information available. We had a reply that our complaint about agenda’s and reporting had been brought up with WaterCo1.
We are big on Communication for the Community from our Water Company and we really don’t want to have to complain to get access to information.
There was a Water Company meeting on Thursday 16th April and we see there is a much more detailed Water Company agenda on the NPDC meetings page.
What can be released of the Board Pack has been included on the meetings page. There is an explanation that some discussions can’t be open to the public with a Board meeting, but what can be made public will be included with agenda’s. The link to the new look Water Company agenda is here:

We are thrilled to see this has been listened to and changes made.
Just a reminder, if you do not support a Water Company being run with secrecy and lack of information, we have a poll and a petition running, with the communities’ thoughts on the future Permanent CEO position.
These are running until 1st May, so make sure you vote if you want to have a say.

P.S We will have an update later about some of the things discussed at the 16th April Water Company meeting. The Daily News tells us on 18th April everything is on track, but there are some concerns the Board mentioned in the meeting which we will cover.
P.P.S If you visit the NPDC meetings page you will see the Water Company now officially has a new name. Wai Hononga Water Services Limited.
