Roving reporter out and about….

Some of our team were at the Water Company meeting early last week and we have a couple of things to report.

The Chairman of the Water Company has resigned.

It was discussed in the meeting that the Chairman of the new Water Company has resigned. There was no explanation in the meeting of why this has happened, and we have been unable to find any information to share about this.

A new Chairman will need to be appointed and we will update when we know more about that process.

Our Statement of Expectations Legal Opinion was discussed.

The Legal Opinion we presented to the NPDC with a deputation was discussed.

The Councillors will decide what steps (if any) will be taken with our legal opinion document, but the board members asked that they are across that decision prior to a public announcement.

We do not know when the NPDC decision will be made about the SOE, but will update when we do.
