Breaking News… from our Roving Reporters out and about… There is a new Permanent CEO at the Water Company. Some of our team were talking with the Water Company team today and the Permanent CEO position has been accepted by Brent Manning.

We will update more about Brent’s background in coming days, but we know he grew up in New Plymouth and has a background which includes local government positions in New Plymouth and other regions of NZ.

We know many of the people who were surprised last year to learn of the Water Company Interim CEO position, will be pleased to see a decision and announcement has been made, and that the community has clarity about the future of this role with the Water Company.

And after almost 10 years - Neil Holdom’s chapter at the NPDC - has come to a close.
